Step 2: Complete Paperwork & Get your Orange Card

This year, students will be able to fill out the required district paperwork for student athletes online. Once this paperwork is filled out, students can check in with the Athletic Secretary in the FCHS Main Office to receive an Orange Card.

The Orange Card is required by the district and must be handed to a coach before students may participate in tryouts.

If you will be attending FCHS next year, follow the registration steps for "enrolled at FCHS for the current school year," If you will be attending an online or charter school, follow the registration steps for "not enrolled at FCHS for the current school year."

Step 3: Attend Tryout Practices to Learn this Year's Material

We'll be hosting tryout practices  April 15th - 17th, where athletes will learn the tryout material. These practices are not mandatory but are highly encouraged as each night of practice will focus on learning a different piece of the tryout material. You can still try out even if you miss a few practices. We'll work with you to help you learn the material!

The tryout material will include a 30-second dance, a cheer, and a chant, which will be performed in small groups to our panel of judges.

Not sure what to expect? See a previous year's material below and use the "Get Prepared" section above to learn basic cheerleading movements.

Step 4: Try Out for the Team!

Tryout day is April 18th! Please show up at 4:30pm to prepare with your group and show your new skills to the judges! We'll post the results by the following weekend.

THE TRYOUT PROCESS:

Step 1: Attend our Parent Meeting
